15 Celebs Who Seriously Adore Their Moms

Every day is Mother's Day for the moms of these stars.

1. Ryan and Donna Gosling
Even though he would have no problem finding a date to red carpet affairs, Ryan has brought his mom to many Hollywood events. But just as Donna cheers him on during movie premieres, he knows when it's time to let her have the spotlight: In 2012, she graduated from Brock University in Canada, and Gosling "jumped to his feet, clapping and taking pictures" when she walked to receive her degree.

2. Kate Hudson and Goldie Hawn
Looking at this famous mother-daughter duo might make you do a double take -- they have the same golden hair, big smiles, and serious confidence. As an Almay Brand Ambassador, Kate and mom Goldie recorded a Mother's Day tribute where they described their relationship as "close, honest… definitely co-dependent."

3. Blake Shelton and Dorothy Shackleford
Grammy winner Blake made hearts melt everywhere when he recorded the Christmas duet, "Time for Me to Come Home," with his mom in 2012. The two shared the entire process -- from writing to singing -- and Dorothy was inspired to write a holiday novel by the same name.

4. Matt Damon and Dr. Nancy Carlsson-Paige
Matt has worked closely with his mom, an early childhood education expert and professor, to defend teachers and public education. It's always exciting to see A-listers support a good cause, but it's extra special that Matt has become passionately involved in one so important to his mother.

5. Emma and Krista Stone

When Krista was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008, Emma was her "rock." In 2013, the pair got matching blackbird tattoos to celebrate Krista's fifth year cancer-free, and they also posed for a Revlon public service campaign to raise awareness for breast cancer.

6. Matthew McConaughey and Mary Kathlene McCabe
When your son has a job that requires him to be in Rome, it's a bonus if you get to visit him at work. Mary Kathlene joined Matthew in Rome for a commercial, and the two enjoyed a mini vacation. It's clear he doesn't mind having her on set -- he also helped her audition and land a role in his SXSW festival film, Bernie.

7. Lupita and Dorothy Nyong'o
During her quick rise to fame and successful 2014 red carpet season, Lupita brought her mom to several awards shows, and Oprah even invited the pair to lunch at her home. At the Independent Spirit Awards, Lupita dedicated her win to her mother, saying, "Your love has driven me this far. Thank you."

8. Bradley and Gloria Cooper
Bradley is proud to admit that he still lives with his mom -- or, rather, his mom lives with him, as he has jokingly clarified. After his father passed away from cancer in 2011, he helped his mom move into his L.A. home, and Gloria happily tags along with her famous son to exciting red carpet events, including the past two Academy Awards.

9. Beyonce and Tina Knowles

For Tina's recent 60th birthday, Beyoncé threw her an elaborate masquerade party in New Orleans, and she's reportedly bought her a $5.9 million mansion in their hometown of Houston, Texas. In an open letter to Tina on Mother's Day 2012, she wrote, "You are the first voice that ever sang to me…My love for you goes beyond what I can say."

10. Emma Thompson and Phyllida Law
While these Scottish actresses have shared the stage and screen -- most notably playing a mother-daughter pair in The Winter Guest -- the two also received honorary doctorates in drama from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland together, which Emma called their "best starring role together." The two are literal neighbors, and Emma calls her mother most nights when the family is home so that her mom can join them for dinner.

11. Justin Timberlake and Lynn Harless
Justin is a mama's boy, and he has no qualms about it. He has Lynn's initials inked on his back, along with the word "guardian," and he's been quoted calling her his best friend. He trusts her enough to co-manage his career -- plus, her company is called Just-In Time Entertainment, and how cute is that?

12. Taylor and Andrea Swift
When it came time to find the perfect Christmas present for her mom, Taylor, of course, turned to music. The two are incredibly close, but she managed to record "The Best Day" without Andrea having any knowledge. Taylor played the song, set to childhood photos and home videos, for her mom on Christmas Eve 2007.

13. Leonardo and Irmelin DiCaprio

He could bring anyone in Hollywood, but Leo has walked the red carpet with his mom multiple times since his 1994 Oscar nod for What's Eating Gilbert Grape. He credits Irmelin with his success, saying, "She's the only reason I'm able to do what I do."

14. Anne and Kate Hathaway
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and Anne is quite literally following in her musical mother's footsteps. She dedicated her Oscar-winning performance as Fantine in the on-screen adaptation ofLes Miserables to her mother, who performed the same role in the play when Anne was 8 years old. Anne has also been spotted in the audience at Kate's Broadway shows -- most recently, Ann.

15. Vanessa and Helen Williams
This mother-daughter duo co-authored You Have No Idea: A Famous Daughter, Her No-Nonsense Mother, and How They Survived Pageants, Hollywood, Love, Loss (and Each Other). The memoir reveals many familial struggles and proves that they are each other's strongest allies. In the back of the book, former Miss America Vanessa is pictured crowning her mother, who she believes "is the real queen in our family."
