ABOUT THE FOUNDERS
The founders of Birth and Beyond Magazine .Com, Louise and Jim McKenzie are parents of 7 (from ages 2 to 18), former lawyers, social entrepreneurs and the founders of AME Media & PR, the leading PR, marketing promotions and multi-media agency for grassroots marketing and networking for and to modern parents.
The husband and wife team, were inspired to create this multi-media site because they could not find the resources they needed online in one place to reflect their hectic work schedule, combined with current blend of news articles, features, and discussion.
Louise and Jim wanted to create a magazine in the traditional format but that could be read online not in the blog style but with the look and “feel” of a printed version; the result was that they created one of the first ‘flip’ online magazines, that has been at the forefront of modern parenting publications for over 6 years. They have contributors from writers, experts, celebrities and regular parents from all over the world.
Consequently they have built up a loyal and trusted following, and are the guest administrators and “influencers” of many blogs, social media and other groups and organizations. They are parenting experts and have written several books on the subject.
Every Little Thing! Birth & Beyond 360 Magazine was the only parenting publication that had a Dads Section. Dads flocked to Every Little Thing! Birth & Beyond 360 Magazine and the section grew to a whopping 88 pages. Jim and Louise were inundated with letters from every day dads (and moms) across the world who wanted to thank them for providing a dad oriented emphasis content, news and views.
In 2014 they launched Everything For Dads.com, their parent media newsroom website with an emphasis on dads, a network collecting content from member blogs and impactful trending news in the US and globally. This website rose to the top 1 million websites worldwide and within the top 600,000 websites in the USA within six months.
Louise and Jim have worked with some of the biggest companies in the country including Home Depot, World Wrestling Federation, Medieval Times, Orlando Magic, National Lung and Heart Institute, Orlando City Soccer, and Healthy Weight Commitment of Washington to name but a few.
