A Cheat Sheet For Time Poor Dads That Want To Feel And Look Good
It can be pretty tough being a dad these days. You are expected to foster your career, as well as being physically and emotionally available whenever you are needed. That often leads to a situation where your physical health and appearance get put on the back burner.
But unfortunately, that is likely to just cause more problems down the line with mood, health, and self-confidence. So check out these tips below which will help you look after yourself but won't take up too much of your time.
Ride Your Bike To Work
If you are struggling to get exercise into your already packed day, then how about using your commute to get fit? Walking, running or biking to work are all popular options that can help you maintain a healthy weight and increase your lung capacity.
Then when you get home, you are all ready for daddy duty and don't have to head off straight way to the gym.
One word of warning, though, if you do decide to do this make sure that your work has somewhere you can freshen up before you sit at your desk. Otherwise, you probably won't be too popular with your colleagues especially if it's a hot day!
Gym At Lunch Time
If your work is too far away to do your exercise on the commute, or they haven't got a shower facility, you can still get your training in during the day. Just try and fit it in at lunch time. This is good as it will force you to take a proper lunch break at least 3-4 times a week. It can also help you curb that temptation to continue working while eating at your desk.
Shave Your Head
Something else that can save your oodles of time is to shave your head. That's right it's quicker to wash, and practically takes no time at all to style! You will save time in the morning and after your workouts, as well as saving money on styling products.

Iron All Your Shirts At The Weekend
It's the little jobs that end up taking the most time, isn't it? That's partly because you have to summon up the motivation to do them, as well as just finding the time. Sometimes it just doesn't seem worth it.
The problem is though that when you have little ones those small jobs can take up the most precious time in your day. Yes, daddy kids time! But also that wonderful peaceful time when they are in bed, asleep. That's the time when you get that whole hour to yourself to relax, and get you back to happy dad status!
That is what is best to batch jobs that will eat into your quality me time. Wash and iron shirt and gym kits at the weekend, to save time every evening. Batch cook meal so when it's your turn to cook all you need to do is pop it in the oven.
