CEO Dad Steps Down To Be A Better Dad

A New York based CEO decides to hang up his hat and become a stay-at-home dad. His letter explaining why went viral online.

MongoDB CEO Max Schireson says there's a double standard when it comes to men and careers. He says he was never asked about how his job affected his family, and that his choice would likely cause him to lose out on millions.

Local stay-at-home dad Patrick Manner applauded the CEO for stepping down, He made the same choice after his daughter became sick and he wanted to spend more time with his four kids.

“I'd be shocked if anyone would even question that decision, if we're not supposed to be here to put our families first, I'm not sure what we'd be here to do."

Some still criticize the support for men, saying that women are unfairly judged for doing the same thing.
