Jennifer Love Hewitt Announced Engagement To Baby Daddy

Just hours after announcing her pregnancy, Jennifer Love Hewitt has revealed she's engaged to her Client List co-star Brian Hallisay.

The 34-year-old actress, who confirmed on Tuesday that she and Brian were 'so thrilled and happy to start a family', is set to wed the actor, also 34, Usmagazine.com reported.

Brian, who plays Jennifer's on-screen husband in Lifetime show The Client List, is said to have popped the question in late May, during a European vacation with his girlfriend.

It remains to be seen what kind of ring Brian chose for Jennifer, but the actress confessed during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres in 2011 that she has a shortlist of three Tiffany engagement rings picked out to make the job easier on her prospective husband.

The happy news comes after sources confirmed to Us Weekly that Jennifer is around three months along and about to enter her second trimester.

Jennifer and Brian have been dating for around 15 months after getting reacquainted on The Client List, in which Jennifer plays a masseuse who begins to offer extra special services after she is deserted by her husband. 

Before that they starred together on the short-lived NBC series Love Bites.

Jennifer's happy announcement comes a year after her mother Patricia passed away after losing her battle to cancer.

The actress has been vocal about her desire to start a family for several years.

In a 2010 interview with Us Weekly, she said: 'I would love to to have babies. . . one day. I'm obsessed with babies!'

Hewitt dated her Ghost Whisperer co-star Jamie Kennedy from 2009 to 2010.

She was previously engaged to Scottish actor Ross McCall, but they split in late 2008 after starting dating in 2005.

Earlier this year it was claimed Hewitt was considering having her eggs frozen to prolong her fertility over fears she would end up childless.
