While Jennifer Love Hewitt has been keeping a low profile since revealing the exciting news, the actress was pictured enjoying a spot of shopping at Ron Herman and Candle Delirium on Wednesday afternoon.
The 36-year-old opted for a casual ensemble as she covered up her bump in a large white shirt which she rolled up at the sleeves.
She teamed the loose top with indigo jeans and brown flat shows as she made her through West Hollywood with bags of shopping in hand.
The Criminal Minds star was glowing as she sported a fresh-faced look and swept her hair back into a simple up-do.
According to TVGuide, the actress’ pregnancy will be written into her Criminal Minds storyline.
'She’s been acting out a little bit, and we reveal … it’s because Kate is gonna have a baby,' executive producer Erica Messer told the site.
‘The fact that she and Chris decide to have a baby rocks Meg a little bit. Even though she’s been raised by amazing people, there’s an underlying abandonment since her parents were killed when she was very young. She’s trying to deal with that and being 13 and navigate the world and see her place in it.'
According to TVGuide , the actress’ pregnancy will be written into her Criminal Minds storyline.
The arc will kick off in the season's 17th episode, scheduled to air March 11, when her niece Meg (Hailey Sole), whom she and her husband Chris (Greg Grunberg) have raised since her parents' deaths on 9/11, finds out that Kate is with child.
Last month, a source told E! News: 'They are loving being a family and excited about expanding. Jennifer knows having two children under two is going to be a lot of work, but she loves the idea of having her kids be close in age.
'Being a mom is the most important thing to her and she's thrilled about being pregnant again.
'She's head over heels for her daughter, Autumn, and can't wait for her to have a sibling,' the insider added.
'Jennifer and Brian are often at home with Autumn and spend as little time away from her as possible.'
