Duchess Kate Appears For First Time Since 2nd Pregnancy News
Today.com: After suffering from a rare pregnancy-related illness that has kept her out of sight for more than a month, Duchess Kate made her first public appearance since announcing she and Prince William are expecting their second child.
The royal couple appeared Tuesday at a London hotel to welcome the president of Singapore to the United Kingdom.
A smiling duchess wore a gray Alexander McQueen coat dress and a Jane Taylor hat on top of hair pulled back in a low ponytail.
Kate then appeared later Tuesday in a pale blue, floor-length Jenny Packham dress at an awards ceremony honoring the Wildlife Photographer of the Year.
Both events marked Kate’s first appearance since the palace revealed she was pregnant and suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, a condition that produces symptoms similar to morning sickness but far more severe. She has had to withdraw from numerous engagements recently because of the condition, which she also experienced while pregnant with her first child, Prince George.
The duchess is due next April, according to the palace.
