www.daynurseries.co.uk

The largest review site for UK nurseries, with 147,281 reviews of 13,117 nurseries and 4 million visits per year.

If a nursery has been reviewed at least once in the last two years, a daynurseries.co.uk review score will appear in the search results and on its profile page.

The score goes from 10 (the best) to 1 (the worst) (worst). The score's algorithm looks at how many, how good, and how recent a nursery's reviews and ratings are. While promising this algorithm is based solely on reviews and doesn’t take into account government reports, pricing or many other factors important to a parents decision.

Ultimately, Day Nurseries is worth a visit even if just to evaluate their huge collection of parent reviews.

www.caringco.co.uk

The Caring Company is the newest day nursery comparison tool on the market. Currently in beta this tool lets you compare 200 day nurseries in over 20 different locations in London & Hampshire. We found many of the core features of other tools such as nursery info, fees guides, reviews, and availability information as well as a few more that we loved.

Our favourite feature was the quality and safety checks, where we could easily view a summary of the latest Ofsted evaluation for the specific nursery. We also loved that we could learn about the team as well as view enrollment and pricing information and easily enquire with a nursery.

Bottom line, this tool is one to watch moving forward. Its main drawback was the limited locations, but if you’re in an area where they’ve launched this tool is the best child care comparison option we found. There hasn’t been much innovation in comparison tools for day nurseries in the last 5 years and the Caring Company might just be able to change this.
