Furniture giant Ikea has issued a recall of their crib mattress called the VYSSA SPELEVINK. And the reason will alarm you: The materials pose a fire hazard to babies.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the VYSSA SPELEVINK -- which retails for $100 and is made in Mexico -- does not meet the federal "open flame" standards for mattresses.

The CPSC is telling consumers to stop using the mattress immediately and return it to the store for a full refund. That amounts to 38,000 cribs sold in stores from October 2000 to May of 2014.

So far, no injuries have been reported. Nonetheless, this is actually the third time this particular mattress has been recalled. Recalls were also issued in January and May 2015 for entrapment hazards.

The mattress is 52 inches long and 27.5 inches wide, white with blue piping around the edges with a label with the model name. If you've bought this mattress, you can call IKEA at 888-966-4532 anytime or log onto IKEA-USA and click on the "recall" link at the top of the page for more info.
