Red on a redhead is always a good move, and this two-tone Valentino halter is as sexy and award-winning as the "American Hustle" best actress.
Worst: Julia Roberts
The black strapless portion of the Dolce & Gabbana getup is fine, albeit a bit boring. Add the tight button-down shirt and she becomes a waitress at Olive Garden.
Best: Cate Blanchett
As per usual, the "Blue Jasmine" best actress winner was pure perfection in this sheer Armani gown, which was perhaps even better from the back thanks to a bum-grazing plunge.
Worst: Paula Patton and her unexpected +1
Designer Stéphane Rolland must have had some extra fabric, but glueing it to Paula's shoulder was not the answer.
