Kate Middleton Makes Surprise Public Appearance at Marathon Event

Kate Middleton surprised the public on Friday morning when she joined her husband Prince William at a marathon event in Anglesey, North Wales, according to a story published on the BBC.

She and Prince William greeted families at the annual three-day, 135-mile coastal run called the Ring O' Fire, leaving their 5-week-old son George (whom Prince William has lovingly dubbed a little bit of a rascal”), at home.

Middleton wore black skinny jeans, an olive Ralph Lauren blazer, black flats, and a polka dot $58 polka dot blouse from Zara—the same top (which is no longer available) she wore while five months pregnant during a skiing trip with Prince William on the Swiss slopes.

Although Middleton's first official appearance is slated for September 12 when she is expected to join Prince William as a guest of honor at the first-ever Tusk Conversation Awards (which serve to protect African wildlife from poachers), it’s the second time this week that we’ve caught a glimpse of the duchess.

On Monday, Middleton was photographed pushing a shopping cart at local Waitross supermarket. She wore black jeans, a striped shirt, and Sebago flats. The appearance—and her trim post-baby body—ignited lots of chatter.

There's no word on who volunteered as the royal babysitter for little George so the couple could attend Friday's event; however, the world is keeping their eyes peeled for his royal stroller.
